A Note From The Founder

Hello and welcome to my Cold Domain.

My name is Greg Deeter. Some of you may know me as a fellow journeyman, or perhaps our lives have intersected or joined together along the way. For others, this is your first time visiting with me in any way. In either case, here are some insights into what I have experienced in recent times and the outcomes those encounters have produced.

Most of you have been watching the explosive expansion in technology that is placing increasing demands on our energy and water resources, demands that are unsustainable given current infrastructure and environmental limitations.

What we are hearing now echo the messages of the past that have always fostered innovation. "We can't!""We shouldn't!""It won't work!""It's never been done!""It is impossible!" — none of those doubts stopped us from putting a man on the moon. That adventure into the impossible pushed the boundary of what was possible far beyond the gates of doubt and the blindness that comes from accepting what you know now against what you could know if you asked the right questions and embraced a fresh point of view.

Over five decades as a field engineer and forensic equipment breakdown investigator, I learned to ask every question the machine couldn't answer for itself:

What does it do ✦ How does it do it ✦ How old is it ✦ How well is it still supported ✦ Can technicians and experts repair or restore it ✦ Are spare parts available ✦ Are there used or refurbished examples in the marketplace to compare values against ✦ What are the newest generation versions and are they backwards compatible ✦ And so on and so forth.

All of those experiences that have spanned years of pre-install engineering, installation, training, service, refurbishment, enhancement, and my own ancillary inventions along the way, have been the catalyst for creating hundreds of innovations and solutions across time, now organized into a growing portfolio of more than 150 active provisional filings. I am still applying proven process and physical science to domains where it has always existed but has rarely been directed.

My growing portfolio is in active USPTO prosecution with Perilla Knox & Hildebrandt LLP — a Best Law Firms-ranked, Juristat Top Patent Firms-recognized intellectual property firm based in the Atlanta Metroplex.

The universe is made up of tiny little stories and together they tell one great big one. I look forward to hearing yours.
